Job Title: Support Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Support Engineer to handle Tier 2/3 support for our ESG platform. The successful candidate will provide expert support and collaboration with the ITSM monitoring team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Tier 2/3 support for the ESG application, including troubleshooting and deployments across environments (CER, QLY, PRD)
* Automate tasks and deployments using Git Lab, Ansible, and participate in weekly release reviews
* Support the observability POC (Grafana Mimir, Loki, Alloy) on Open Shift using Helm and Git Lab CI
* Contribute to the migration of Grafana Central to Open Shift and suggest improvements in Ia C (Terraform, Ansible)
* Collaborate with the ITSM team using tools like OBM, Site Scope, Prometheus, and Python scripts for automation
* Coordinate with developers, QA, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure platform stability
Requirements:
* Solid experience in application or platform support (Tier 2/3)
* Experience with Git (Git Lab) and Ansible for deployment and automation
* Familiarity with IBM Cloud or hybrid cloud environments
* Strong hands-on experience with Open Shift or Kubernetes
* Understanding of Grafana stack (Mimir, Loki, Alloy) and monitoring tools
* Proficiency in Linux environments
* Good scripting ability with Python
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI) and Helm
* Basic knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure configuration
* Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
