What’s the purpose of this role?
The purpose of the SAP Solution Architect (Source-to-Pay) is to:
1. Lead the design and implementation of SAP Source to Pay solutions, focusing on process reengineering and the application of SAP Best Practices.
2. Collaborate with Global Process Owners and Product Teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and seamless integration of Source to Pay processes.
3. Integrate SAP Source to Pay with third-party procurement systems to enhance overall procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Leverage S/4HANA procurement functionality to optimize procurement processes and drive digital transformation within the organization.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP Source to Pay best practices, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
6. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement landscape, leveraging the latest SAP technologies and tools.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, while optimizing procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
8. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
What is needed to succeed in this Role?
1. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP Source to Pay architecture, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO).
2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP implementation, with at least 5 years focused on Source to Pay.
3. Procurement Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of both manufacturing and office procurement processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
4. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
5. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Innovation: Ability to stay current with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
7. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing technical teams.
