We are seeking a skilled Demand Analyst to join our team in Portugal.
Job Description
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust demand forecasting process based on historical data, market trends, and input from various stakeholders. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to review, understand, and update our organisation's demand planning processes on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Implementing and maintaining a 12-months rolling demand forecasting process.
* Leading monthly demand reviews with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to gather market intelligence and insights.
* Maintaining an accurate sales forecast in SAP.
* Summarizing and presenting demand plans by region, key customers, and product families.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
The successful candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Data Analysis And Reporting
The ideal candidate will utilize advanced analytics and forecasting tools to analyze demand patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.
Inventory Management
The candidate will coordinate risk buy process and contractual inventories, as well as implementing inventory controls to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Qualifications
* A Master's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
* Effective communication & reporting skills.
* A problem-solving mindset.
* The ability to focus & narrow down large & complex topics.
* 5+ year working as a Supply Chain Project Manager in an international & multisite environment.
* English: full proficiency, minimum C1.
* Portuguese: full proficiency, minimum C1.
* SAP: 5+ year working on a daily basis.
* Excel: proficiency required, particularly in using Power Query for efficient data extraction and manipulation.
* Power BI: proficiency required, for data visualization and reporting.
