Android Software Developer
ready to take on one of the most exciting challenges in the automotive industry!
What will you do?
Design, develop, and implement cohesive, user-friendly features for Android-based in-car applications.
Improve and maintain the in-vehicle Apps Store platform with a focus on usability and performance.
Work closely with Senior Android Developers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers throughout the development lifecycle.
Analyse logs and debug issues to identify root causes, especially those related to third-party application behaviour.
Participate in support activities with a problem-solving mindset, ensuring system stability and user satisfaction.
Write clean, scalable code and contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
3+ years of professional experience in Android application development using Kotlin and Java.
Proven experience with RESTful API integration.
Solid understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous programming in Android.
Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in agile and cross-functional development teams.
Familiarity with Android development best practices and debugging tools.
Nice to have
Experience with GIT version control systems.
Exposure to Android OS internals, including ADB and system customization.
Knowledge of Android Automotive OS and Android Car APIs.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android projects.
