We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Team Lead for our DevOps group. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a talented group of DevOps Engineers, ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes, and driving continuous improvement in our infrastructure and deployment practices.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on achieving common goals.
* Coordinate and prioritize tasks, ensuring the team's efficiency and productivity.
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure.
* Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
* Support us in planning and designing the infrastructure of our products.
* Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver high-quality software in the most efficient manner.
* Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and deployment.
* Implement and maintain GitOps practices for version-controlled and declarative infrastructure and application management.
* Work with the Security Team to ensure systems are safe against security threats and set up security protocols.
* Oversee the monitoring and troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure, ensuring a prompt response to system issues as necessary.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, automated, and secure release processes.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps, containerization, and cloud services.
Requirements
* A degree or education in computer science and/or solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
* Leadership experience (people or technical leadership), with a track record in high-performing teams.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD).
* Proficient with Kubernetes and Docker container management.
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
* Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure or AWS).
* Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git.
* Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure.
* Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work.
* Knowledge of Java, Go and SQL is advantageous.
* English is no hurdle for you (at least B2-level required).
