Job Description
Senior IT Project Manager position offers great experience to lead and deliver large-scale IT projects around the Invoice to Cash ecosystem, with different delivery models and a variety of complexity levels. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope, on time, and within budget while aligning with business goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with deep knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development practices.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale/multi-year projects.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
- Develop detailed project plans and manage the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Ensure project acceptance criteria are met with deliverables on time, within budget, and of high quality.
- Coordinate all parties involved in the project(s), both internal and third-party vendors, to ensure flawless execution.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate tools and verification techniques. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as needed.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Maintain project documentation, measure progress against baseline metrics, and update steering committees.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives and translate them into actionable projects.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience managing IT projects, with 3+ years in a senior or lead role
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Strong technical background with an understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, software development, and security
- Strong financial acumen to support business case preparation and execution
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience working within a multi-cultural, multi-time-zone environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
It would be nice if you also had:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
- Experience with digital transformation or enterprise-wide technology implementations
