About this role
Real-time system monitoring, event logging, and incident management are critical components of a successful IT operation. This Operating Center Engineer position plays a key part in detecting system anomalies, accurately documenting events and incidents, and communicating effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Key responsibilities
* Monitor alerts via Zabbix, SCOM, or similar tools to identify system issues;
* Log events and incidents with clear documentation and follow best practices in incident documentation;
* Use ticketing systems to register, update, and track incidents from detection to resolution;
* Communicate complex technical information in writing to both technical and non-technical teams;
* Analyze issues deeply by identifying the root cause, determining required actions, and assigning responsibilities;
* Proactively follow up on incidents and ensure timely updates and closure.
Requirements
* Knowledge or hands-on experience (valued) with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SCOM, or equivalent;
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills;
* Strong written communication for logging and team collaboration;
* Self-starter with a proactive mindset and attention to detail;
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
