We are looking for a Data Modeling & Governance Specialist with a strong interest in data modeling, tooling, and governance to support projects and promote the industrialization of data modeling practices.This role sits at the crossroads of data architecture, delivery teams, and governance, contributing to consistent, high-quality data models and fostering a strong community of data modelers.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport projects in the integration of data models into delivery pipelinesPromote the industrialization and standardization of data modeling processesImprove tooling and controls for:Naming conventionsProject codesModel consistency checksCustomize and extend tools through scripting and APIsContribute to the animation and growth of a community of data modelersLead knowledge-sharing sessions and best-practice workshopsRequired Skills & ExperienceData Modeling & ToolsStrong understanding of data modeling concepts:IDEF1XStar schemaData VaultHands-on experience with data modeling tools, ideally Erwin Data ModelerInterest or experience in data governance principlesTechnical SkillsAbility to develop scripts and automation using Python, Java, or VBExperience using APIs to customize tools and proceduresBasic knowledge of CI/CD for script publishing is a plusPrevious experience as a project developer is a plusProfile & Soft SkillsStrong communicator, comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAble to lead information and training sessions for data modelersProactive, autonomous, and curiousEager to explore and improve existing tools and processesEnjoys sharing knowledge and contributing to communities of practiceHybrid Work: 2/3x in the office in Lisbon
