CTR/Hayco is a multinational manufacturing company looking for a Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Portugal.
Job Purpose: According to customer demand and order priorities, develop and maintain production schedules in alignment with available capacity, material availability, and production specifications.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, in-full delivery to customers while optimizing resource utilization.
Education: University degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years' proven working experience in manufacturing companies; FMCG or high-mix/low-volume environments preferred.
Solid analytical skills for data analysis and decision-making.
Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes; experience with ERP planning tools (SAP and/or PHC) is an advantage.
Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective team player.
Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
University degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Job Responsibilities: Review customer demand (including forecasts and purchase orders) in collaboration with the Customer Service team.
Develop monthly, weekly and daily production schedules considering demand, production capacity, and material availability.
Monitor schedule adherence daily, weekly, and monthly; analyze attainment and identify gaps.
Coordinate with the Purchasing team to mitigate the impact of material shortages.
Work closely with Production and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to optimize machine and manpower utilization.
Support HR in developing manpower plans to meet production requirements.
Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to address capacity, material, or scheduling issues.
