Your mission, roles, and responsibilities
* Manage the SLA agreed between the Site and IT Operations: track the consistent performance of the system, ensure its functionality, and oversee its day-to-day utilization and upkeep;
* Manage IT personnel on-site concerning objectives and results, ensuring each has a job description and a semi-annual individual review;
* Develop and monitor the IT Shared Services budget for the site, issuing or validating all related IT purchases;
* Under this SLA, ensure the permanent availability of the systems, their proper functioning, and coordinate or carry out daily operational tasks;
* Coordinate with the IT Operations Region Manager to:
* Collect and follow up on site requirements;
* Ensure user ownership of systems, providing training, creating, and implementing procedures as necessary;
* Provide 1st & 2nd level functional and technical support on critical applications (ERP, JIT, Supplier Kanban, TCO) and handle IT incidents reported by users;
* Ensure adherence to group standards regarding hardware, software, security policies, license control, and inventory management;
* Manage site contracts and relationships with external suppliers, including maintenance services;
* Define and implement IT procedures, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans;
* Implement new projects for local applications and infrastructure;
* Deliver monthly reports to the IT Region Manager in the defined format.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
* Degree in management with a specialization in Information Technology;
* At least 3 years of experience;
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and judgment on escalation;
* Effective communication skills with diverse populations and good interpersonal skills;
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;
* Good understanding or interest in shop floor systems (sequencing, traceability, etc.);
* Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems: Win7, Win10, Server 2012, 2016, 2019;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2016 and Office 365;
* Knowledge of PC hardware, software, and network servers;
* Cisco networking experience and/or training preferred;
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
