OverviewDetails – Hospitality, Sports, Leisureis the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.TheDirector of Hospitality Operationsis responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of the hospitality clusters, ensuring excellence in guest experience, operational efficiency, and profitability. This senior leadership role will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the Heads of Operations for the clusters and involves strategic planning, operational management, team leadership, and process improvement across multiple properties or business units.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic vision.Translate strategic goals into operational plans with clear KPIs and accountability.Identify industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats.Oversee daily operations of hotels, resorts, restaurants, or hospitality services.Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and service.Optimize processes for efficiency, cost control, and guest satisfaction.Work with the CFO to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability to meet or exceed targets.Ensure compliance with all financial controls and reporting standards.Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and brand reputation.Maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and safety.Oversee service recovery processes and continuous improvement programs.Lead, mentor, and motivate senior managers and departmental heads.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management programs.Ensure health and safety regulations, hospitality laws, and company policies are met.Implement risk management strategies to safeguard guests, employees, and assets.Manage crisis response plans for operational disruptions.Maintain strong relationships with owners, investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.Key QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of senior leadership experience in hospitality or related service industries.Demonstrated success in managing multi-property operations and large teams.Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to deliver operational improvements and guest satisfaction.LocationVilamoura
