Health and Safety Coordinator Role
The Health and Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during the project execution phase.
Key Responsibilities:
* HS&E Coordination:
* Support the preparation, update, and submission of prior notices to relevant authorities.
* Advise on responsibilities under applicable HS&E legislation and ensure awareness of legal obligations.
* HS&E Plan Review:
* Oversee the development and implementation of the HS&E plan by the EPC contractor.
* Verify alignment with project-specific requirements and legal standards.
* Safety Inspections:
* Conduct safety inspections alongside general site inspections.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
* Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
* Accident Investigation and Reporting Review:
* Evaluate the EPC contractor's accident investigation process and reporting systems.
* Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
* Provide recommendations for improvements where necessary.
* Emergency Response Plan Review:
* Review and assess the adequacy of the EPC contractor's emergency response plans.
* Ensure that emergency preparedness measures are practical, sufficient, and tested regularly.
