ATEPELI - Ateliers du Portugal, part of one of the largest international luxury groups, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a twelve-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise to our finance team and ensure the accuracy and compliance of our financial records.What you'll do:Manage daily accounting: oversee daily transactions, including reconciliations, invoicing, and bill entries.Ensure record accuracy: review, reconcile, and maintain accurate accounting records, complying with IFRS.Drive month-end: Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly and yearly closing processes.Report & analyze: Prepare financial statements and revenue/cash flow summaries.Collaborate: liaise with departments for smooth process integration.Manage accounts: issue invoices, monitor suppliers accounts, and support receipt/invoice analysis.Support compliance: support audits and tax preparation.Improve processes: identify and implement process improvements for efficiencyIs this position made for you?
We seek a proactive and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong understanding of IFRS and a proven ability to manage financial processes.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field, plus at least five years of progressive accounting experience.
Solid accounting skills are essential, with IFRS knowledge preferred.
International experience is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and fluency in English are required.
