CTR/Hayco is a multinational manufacturing company looking for an Analyst II Cost Engineering to join our Engineering team in Portugal.
We are seeking an experienced Analyst II Cost Engineering to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain cost estimates for projects, products, and processes.
* Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
* Prepare cost models and forecasts to support budgeting and financial ROI.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to optimize cost structures.
* Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality.
* Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
* Principles of cost engineering and cost control in manufacturing environments.
* Process engineering fundamentals, including workflow optimization and efficiency analysis.
* Material, labor, and overhead cost structures related to production processes.
* Methods for estimating, budgeting, and forecasting costs for process improvements and ROI analysis.
* Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Risk analysis and cost-benefit evaluation for process changes or new projects.
