Job Description
Devoteam Portugal is seeking a Python Developer to join our nearshore team for an exciting project in the financial sector. You will play a key role in implementing Policy-as-Code solutions, leveraging expertise in Python OOP, Terraform, and AWS scripting with Boto3.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and automate using Terraform (modular architecture, promotion strategies).
2. Write and maintain Python code focusing on OOP, using frameworks and custom packages.
3. Work with AWS (scripting via Boto3) to manage and secure cloud resources.
4. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience as a Python Developer.
* Strong experience with Python, including OOP and package development.
* Solid knowledge of AWS and scripting with Boto3.
* Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
* Deep understanding of cloud security principles and Policy-as-Code.
* Ability to write clean, scalable, and reusable code for infrastructure.
Nice to Have
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
* Exposure to Azure (the project includes Azure components).
