Job Title: Automation Engineer

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Infra Cloud Squad.
This role focuses on automating the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
You will play a key role in enabling scalable, secure, and efficient environments.
The team's core responsibilities include analysis and architecture validation of cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Tasks:Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate the deployment of Azure resources.
Develop and maintain reusable automation using Ansible whilst managing deployments with automate configuration management.
Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (RHAAP) or GitHub Actions.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost optimization best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira.
Document infrastructure designs, automation processes, and operational procedures.
Support the team in architecture validation and infrastructure analysis.
RequirementsMandatory Requirements:+3 years of experience in automating Azure infrastructure for data and analytics platforms.
Strong proficiency and experience with Ansible for configuration management.
Solid scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with Azure networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira for task management.
AZ-900 Certification is required.
Complementary Requirements:Microsoft certifications (e.G., AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-600).
Experience with monitoring and alerting automation (e.G., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
Exposure to DataOps or DevOps for data platforms.
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
