We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head Chef to take full ownership of the kitchen operation from pre-opening through to launch and beyond.
The right candidate will combine creative flair with strong commercial acumen, leading a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Menu Engineering: Develop seasonal menus that are both commercially viable and creatively distinctive.
* Cost Control: Maintain tight control over food costs, supplier negotiations, portioning, and waste reduction.
* Operational Leadership: Lead day-to-day kitchen operations with precision, ensuring the highest standards of consistency and presentation.
* Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a motivated brigade, fostering a professional and disciplined kitchen culture.
* Health & Safety: Uphold HACCP and all relevant food safety regulations to exemplary standards.
* Pre-Opening Excellence: Set up systems, workflows, and operational structures ahead of launch.
* Collaboration: Work closely with ownership to ensure the culinary offer is fully aligned with the brand vision and market positioning.
