Role & responsibilities:
Evaluate and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to ensure quality, accuracy, and project alignment.
Provide technical expertise on water grid design in collaboration with consulting partners.
Contribute to the preparation of Preliminary Project Reports (PPR) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports.
Support the preparation of loan-related documentation for ADB, World Bank, or other multilateral funding agencies.
Develop RFPs and oversee bid management for selecting technical, project management, and execution consultants.
Candidate requirements:
BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / IT / Computer Science / Related fields is preferred
Minimum 13 years of experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in water sector including designing of water distribution projects.
Experience working with State/Central Government bodies/PSUs in water-related assignments.
Proficient in using Water Gem software for hydraulic modelling and water grid design.
Working knowledge of GIS tools applied to water sector projects.
Hands-on experience with ADB/World Bank/other multilateral funding agency projects, covering PPR, EIA, and loan documentation.
Ability to apply strong analytical thinking and strategic planning in project delivery.
Skilled in communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving for complex projects.
Proven capability in designing and reviewing water distribution and hydraulic systems.
Adept at drafting proposals and preparing responses to RFPs.
