Our development center in Lisbon is continuously growing, and we are looking for new experts for our ongoing and new projects. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement sophisticated features for our tailor-made software solutions for large clients from Switzerland. Your daily work will include:
1. Developing effective solutions for complex business problems across various industries
2. Integrating new components and technologies into existing software systems and architectures
3. Working across all layers of the software stack (web and mobile UI, business layer, database)
4. Mentoring and supporting your teammates
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 6 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java back-end development (Spring Boot, EJB, JPA, SOAP, REST, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of database/SQL development
- Familiarity with common development tools (Git, Ant/Maven/Gradle, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Comfort with Linux shell and scripting
- Strong understanding of design methodologies
- Good communication skills in English
