To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Technical Skills
- Experience in designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based distributed systems
* Cloud Platforms
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
* Containerization and Orchestration
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, pod configuration, and scaling strategies
* Cloud Security
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and compliance
* DevOps Practices
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments
* Networking and Storage
- Understanding of cloud networking components and storage solutions, including virtual networks, load balancing, and data lakes
* Monitoring and Observability
- Experience with monitoring tools and observability practices to ensure the reliability and performance of cloud solutions
* Leadership and Collaboration
- Passionate and driven, curious and willing to share your knowledge, but also learn with others - regardless of their background, tenure or seniority
