Steel Structure Inspector Job Opportunity
The primary objective of the Steel Structure Inspector role is to ensure compliance with construction standards and contractual requirements throughout the project execution phase. This position entails:
* Conducting quality assurance and control (QAQC) inspections and activities across the construction, erection, and installation phases.
* Verifying conformity with contractual requirements, execution plans, delivery dates, and manufacturing quality.
* Managing and updating QAQC documentation using IT tools such as EasyPlant and GAIA.
* Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzing data provided by construction contractors.
* Issuing QAQC deliverables including pre-inspection meeting reports, quality control procedures (QCPs), construction surveillance histories (CSHs), and others.
* Identifying and reporting deviations or issues affecting quality or delivery, and coordinating recovery actions.
* Contributing to technical evaluations of construction-related offers.
* Supporting performance evaluations of contractors and inspection agencies.
* Providing clear, precise, and accurate reports on compliance with construction codes and project specifications.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have proficient knowledge of QAQC processes within steel structure construction projects. They should also be skilled in reporting and documentation using digital tools and experienced in interpreting and applying construction codes and standards. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, with Portuguese also necessary.
