Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a dynamic and proactive Junior Business Developer professional at Softlanding.
The ideal candidate should have a background in sales, marketing or business strategy, be passionate about identifying business opportunities and be confident in cold calling.
Key Responsibilities: Qualify and contact potential customers within a specific product/service Meet potential customers to sell specific product/services Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email and other communication channels Identify and qualify sales opportunities by understanding the needs and challenges of potential customers Participate in events to promote our company and solutions, and follow up on leads generated from these activities.
Collaborate with the sales team, customer success and marketing (B2B) to develop strategies for reaching sales targets Maintain sales activities and generate reports for management Use customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales enablement tooling to search and manage leads and sales activities Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in a Business area (Management, Economics, Marketing) or a related field.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English) Creative thinking and ability to generate personalized outreach and follow ups Analytical mindset to qualify business opportunities and relevant leads Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
Experience with a CRM platform is a plus (ideally hubspot).
Knowledge of tools, such as Linkedin Sales Navigator and Apollo is a plus, non-mandatory.
Knowledge of the European IT services industry is a plus, non-mandatory.
