We are actively seeking specialists in the following social and psychosocial intervention areas (with a minimum of 3 years of experience):ProfileMission Focus
Social WorkerManagement of individual and family cases in crisis or vulnerable situations; development and monitoring of social intervention plans.
Social/Community PsychologistProviding direct psychosocial support to trauma and violence survivors; promotion of mental health and development of community resilience.
Specialized EducatorConception and implementation of socio-educational intervention programs focused on the rehabilitation and integration of at-risk children and youth.
Social Consultant in Family EducationGuidance and training for families and caregivers to strengthen parenting skills, prevent violence, and ensure child well-being.
Intervention Locations
Specific assignment locations will be defined based on project needs and the candidate's profile. Missions will include:
•Anglophone and Lusophone Countries: South Africa (Cape Town and Pretoria), Kenya (Nairobi), Mauritius Island, Seychelles, Cape Verde.
Key Responsibilities
The fundamental responsibilities for these profiles are field intervention and direct support:
•Direct Beneficiary Support: Conducting individual counseling sessions, family interventions, and group therapy.
•Case Management: Managing the complete cycle of vulnerability cases, from identification to social integration.
•Community Training: Leading the training and empowerment of local teams and community workers in intervention and protection techniques.
•Planning: Collaborating on the development and implementation of prevention programs (e.g., against Gender-Based Violence - GBV).
•Reporting: Preparing technical and progress reports for the organization and donors.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
•Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area (Social Work, Community/Clinical Psychology, Educational Sciences, or related fields).
•Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in your field, with a focus on direct intervention in vulnerable contexts.
•Language Proficiency: An English level of at least B1 is required for operational communications and the mission location.
•Essential Competencies: High empathy, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work in multicultural environments with limited resources.
Conditions and Benefits (Expatriate Package)
•Gross Monthly Salary: From €2,600 to €3,500, depending on experience and the specialization of the role.
•Additional Benefits: Expatriate Allowance; Subsistence Allowance; 13th Month Salary.
