Overview
We are looking for aIT Manager / Network & Edge Platform Owner.ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintainreferencearchitecturesforSD-WAN, routing, firewalls, VPN, ZTNA, load balancing, and DNS servicesOwn and continuously improve the global network edge, including internet breakouts, remote access solutions, and site connectivityEstablish and governnetwork policies, including segmentation, IP addressing strategies, and firewall standardsDrivenetwork observabilitythroughtelemetry, monitoring, and synthetic testingto improve reliability and reduce operational riskManagethe lifecycle of authoritative and internalDNS services,including governance, processes, and operational standardsEnsure platform resilience through high-availability designs, failover testing, and disaster recovery planningCollaborate closely with IT Securityto maintain network security baselines and compliance requirementsCoordinate with external partners, integrators, and carriers to ensure adherence to platform standards and service quality expectationsMonitor vendor performance through KPIs, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesLead major network changes, site migrations, and incident management activities in a global environmentRequirements5+ years of experiencemanaging and operating enterprise network environmentsStrong hands-on experience with SD-WAN, routing, firewalls, VPN technologies, ZTNA, and load balancing solutionsExperience administering and governing internal and authoritativeDNS platformsExperience withnetwork automation ,infrastructure-as-code practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of network segmentation, IP addressing plans, and change management processesExperience with network monitoring, observability platforms, telemetry, and synthetic testingProven ability to manage vendors, service providers, and system integratorsExperience leading multi-site deployments, migrations, and complex infrastructure projectsStrong troubleshooting and incident management skills in critical production environmentsFluent in EnglishLocation:Ovar, PortugalWork Model:Hybrid (2 days/week in the office)Project Type:InternationalExperience Level:Senior (5+ years)Salary Package & Benefits:1400-1900 + SA + Flex Benefits
