We are seeking a visionary Senior Data Architect to lead our data-driven transformation. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering robust data products that drive innovation within our Analytics Domain.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern cloud-based data architectures, including data Lakehouse, ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and cost-effective data storage and processing. They will also leverage version control and CI/CD pipelines to streamline data development, while implementing best practices for data governance, quality, and performance.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, and optimizing data products, data models, and pipelines that enable efficient data consumption across teams, enhancing business intelligence and analytics.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business teams, to translate business needs into efficient data solutions.
* Mentoring team members on technical best practices for data engineering and analytics while optimizing and managing data transformations.
* Partnering with the Data Hub Team to ensure development adheres to standards and utilizes the latest technologies, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security are in place at launch and maintained over time.
Requirements include:
* Several years of experience in an Analytics Engineering role within dynamic, outcome-driven organizations.
* Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and designing ETL workflows.
* Experience with data streaming (Apache Kafka and Flink).
* Expertise in Snowflake and in-depth knowledge of modeling data with dbt.
* Experience with cloud-based data architectures (preferably AWS and especially Lambda).
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
* Hands-on experience developing and maintaining robust data architectures to support analytics and business intelligence.
* Proficiency in using tools for version control and managing CI/CD workflows, such as GitHub or GitLab.
Nice to Have includes Experience in the manufacturing environment, expertise with traditional on-premise solutions, data visualization tools, orchestration tools, Agile or Scrum methodologies, AI and machine learning tools, and customer service tools.
