Overview
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our Derivatives trading desk and help design, build, and maintain high-performance in-house applications. If you enjoy working with complex data, delivering scalable solutions, and collaborating in a fast-paced front-office environment, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities
-Application Development: Build and maintain in-house applications for the Derivatives trading desk using Python, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
-Testing & QA: Implement automated tests with PyTest and contribute to code reviews.
-Data Management: Process, analyse, and manipulate datasets using NumPy and Pandas.
-Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure production stability.
-Version Control: Use Git for effective, collaborative code management.
-Collaboration: Work with team members and business stakeholders to deliver valuable tools.
-Issue Resolution: Provide second-line support, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
-Continuous Improvement: Enhance development practices, tools, and standards.
