Summary
The main function of the IT Ops Specialist is to support and enhance IT operations within Boost IT, ensuring efficient handling of technology projects and operations.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and support IT workload using TWS (Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console).
* Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate tasks.
* Utilize ticketing tools, such as Jira or ServiceNow, to track and resolve IT issues.
* Provide support in Unix/Linux environments, troubleshooting and resolving operational problems.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
Must Haves:
* Strong experience with TWS (Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console).
* Proficient in Shell scripting.
* Familiarity with ticketing tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
* Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.
* Solid problem-solving abilities.
* Fluent in English.
Nice to Haves:
