Responsibilities: Ensure the receipt and/or dispatch of all materials (direct, indirect, and equipment), according to production or plant needs, via sea, road, air, or rail transport.
Manage non-compliance situations involving freight forwarders, ensuring the best resolution—either through negotiation with Vendor Planners or by arranging alternative shipments with suppliers.
Research and identify new transport solutions and freight forwarders, working closely with the Purchasing team to maintain the approved transport vendor list.
Open claims with transporters in the event of material damage and collaborate with the Quality team to manage the complaint process and inspection of affected goods.
Monitor export and import flows to ensure all required shipping documentation is prepared and available.
Organize express/parcel/OBC (On-Board Courier) shipments as needed.
Enter relevant shipment data (quoted cost, selected forwarder, required delivery date, pick-up date) into the appropriate tracking systems, such as SharePoint Online.
Validate invoiced amounts against quoted costs registered in SharePoint Online, and, in case of discrepancies, open and follow up on related claims.
Maintain the logistics/distribution database (SharePoint Online and KALEIDO) to ensure the availability of documentation and scheduling of warehouse receipts and shipments.
Follow up on customs clearance processes and coordinate with the customs broker to avoid shipment delays due to tax authority holds.
Support the Taxes Investments Analyst in the INTRASTAT reporting to ensure data accuracy.
Negotiate transport rates with freight forwarders to secure competitive pricing.
Collaborate with the Purchasing team in managing annual transportation tenders.
Work toward reducing premium shipments to a maximum of 0.5% of the total shipment volume.
Partner with the Packaging Engineer to optimize container usage and reduce transport and packaging costs.
Ensure CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) reporting through the appropriate platform.
Actively seek cost-effective solutions to achieve annual budget targets.

Requirements Competencies High school diploma or technical course in Transportation, Logistics, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or related areas Knowledge of customs procedures and HSCODE classification Basic understanding of hazardous materials transportation regulations Familiarity with air, sea, and rail freight operations Experience with ERP systems Basic knowledge of trade agreements and INCOTERMS Availability and flexibility to work varied schedules Ability to anticipate issues and take proactive action
