Overview
Senior C# Developer role at BNP Paribas CIB. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior C# Developer to join our team, with the opportunity to work in the foreign exchange electronic trading systems GUI development team.
Responsibilities
* Designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality C# .NET framework GUI applications with WPF
* Collaborating with the product team to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects
* Mentoring and guiding junior developers
* Understanding design and architecture principles, common data structures, and algorithms complexity
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
* Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
* Maintaining code quality, organization, and automation
* Staying current with modern C# development practices
Profile and Skills to Success
* Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in C# development with WPF
* Proactive and flexible approach to challenges
* Web development experience with TypeScript and React
* Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and C#; experience with design patterns such as MVVM, IOC, and Reactive Extensions (Rx)
* Ability to deliver quality code without relying on the test team
* Experience across the full development lifecycle within .NET projects (architecture to maintenance)
* Experience with Agile/Scrum, tools such as IntelliJ, JIRA and Confluence, and Git version control
* Proficient Windows user
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Good knowledge of FX and appreciation for electronic trading
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
