Define and document all garment details — measurements, tolerances, stitching, finishing, and trims — for supplier communication
Prepare clear and comprehensive tech packs and specification sheets for each style
Ensure consistency of fit and proportions across the full size range through accurate grading instructions
Fitting & Prototyping
Participate in fitting sessions alongside designers, analysing fit, proportion, and construction quality
Propose technical adjustments and solutions while preserving the original design vision
Manage the iteration process between fittings, corrections, and supplier feedback until the garment is approved
Evaluate fabric behaviour, drape, and construction viability during the development process
Collaboration & Process
Work closely with the design and buying team throughout the development cycle, providing technical guidance on feasibility, construction methods, and fabric suitability
Contribute to improving product development workflows and timelines
Maintain organised records of specifications, fitting notes, and supplier correspondence
Support quality control by ensuring production output matches approved samples and specs
Requirements:
2–5 years of professional experience as a Pattern Maker / Quality Control in fashion apparel
Deep knowledge of garment construction, measurements, grading, fabric properties, and finishing techniques
Proven experience communicating technical specifications to suppliers and manufacturers
Ability to work across multiple garment categories (tops, dresses, skirts, trousers, outerwear)
Strong ability to manage several styles simultaneously within tight deadlines
Fluent and clear communicator, comfortable liaising with international suppliers
Proficiency in general digital tools (Google Workspace, Excel) for tech packs and documentation
Personal Attributes:
Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills, both internally and with external suppliers
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proactive and solutions-driven
