We are now looking for a Processing Key Account Manager, who will ensure sustainable and profitable growth of Tetra Pak’s Processing business in Iberia.
This is a permanent role, located in Lisbon, Portugal.
We are also accepting applications from people based in/near Arganda del Rey, Spain.
What you will do
1. Customer Relationship Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for processing-related matters with your assigned customers.
* Build and maintain long‑term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Understand customer needs and translate them into tailored processing solutions.
2. Sales & Business Development
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
* Quote, discuss & negotiate orders and contracts with customers using value‑selling process & tender guidelines.
* Deliver financial targets for the processing business, for the allocated strategic customers.
* Understand & drive improvement actions to secure a profitable account/sales area through timely portfolio, commercial actions & necessary competitiveness measures impacting project/account management costs.
4. Technical Expertise & Solution Selling
* Provide technical guidance on processing systems and equipment.
* Work with pre‑project teams, including engineering, automation and business streams to design optimal solutions to solve customer challenges.
* Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to advise customers effectively.
5. Commercial & Contract Management
* Negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts related to processing solutions.
* Understand & comply with Tetra Pak’s commercial practices framework (including pricing, contract terms & authorisation matrix), regulatory framework & general code of conduct. Manage proper & timely documentation of customer files.
* Work closely with packaging and services for integrated solutions.
* Report account performance, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior management.
We believe you have
* University degree or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or food‑related subject.
* Experience in selling capital goods in a business‑to‑business environment.
* Experience in general food processing techniques and equipment.
* Technical knowledge of the Tetra Pak equipment and solutions is an advantage.
* Full fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with outstanding communication skills.
* Good presentation and time‑management skills.
* Ability to develop and manage customer plans.
* Self‑motivated and diligent.
