Data Analytics Specialist
Our growing company in Funchal is seeking a skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and providing insightful recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency. You must have prior experience in data analysis and be proficient in using statistical tools and techniques. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from various sources
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and simulations
- Identify patterns, trends, and insights in the data
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or related role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as R or Python
- Experience with SQL databases and programming languages such as Java or C++
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Analytics or related field
- Experience with machine learning techniques and tools such as TensorFlow or Scikit-Learn
- Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
