Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer:
For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for a long contract based in Portugal.

Must-Have Skills
* Test execution, defect management, and daily status reporting
* Automation testing using Robot Framework, Playwright, Cypress
* Hands-on experience with Postman, Bruno, or equivalent API validation tools
* Experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures
* Test data management and environment strategy
* Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, DevOps practices, and version control (Git/GitHub)
* Strong understanding of the Agile development lifecycle
* Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools (self-healing, test generation, analytics) – added advantage
* Good communication skills for client interaction and collaboration in Agile & DevOps environments
Good-to-Have Skills
* Telecom domain knowledge (OSS/BSS)
* Understanding of non-functional test suite design and implementation
* Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud testing experience
* Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required by the client (open-source ecosystem)
* Exposure to AI-driven automated testing
Roles & Responsibilities
* Own the testing strategy, planning, and execution, with a strong focus on automation and AI-driven quality practices.
* Drive the transition from manual testing to automated and intelligent testing, including framework and AI tool selection and evolution.
* Act as the primary decision-maker for testing approaches and quality improvements for backlog items and tasks.
* Provide team leadership, mentoring, and training for testers.
* Collaborate closely with Client, TCS Test Lead, and PO/TPOs.
* Coach and empower team members to take ownership of quality, ensuring shared responsibility for testing and quality.
