Within the Group RISK Function, the main mission of Risk CPBS (Commercial, Personal Banking & Services) is to supervise risk management for credit, counterparty, market and operational risks within the Retail Banking perimeter, which covers the local entities across Europe, to
Contribute to the implementation of a robust risk management framework, cascading new regulatory and internal requirements to local entities
Monitor and control risks on its perimeter, providing a dynamic and comprehensive analysis of all the risks incurred within its scope
Ensure compliance with banking regulations in the risk area, in conjunction with other departments
Your Main Activities Are
The main responsibility of this role is to act as a liaison between corporate and local entities, by coordinating projects related to implementing new regulatory requirements, improving our risk management processes and enhancing our data quality and reliability
Projects you might be involved
Assist in the deployment of new Basel 4/CRR3 regulation and its impact on Capital Requirements
Assist in the deployment of new IFRS9 rules to ensure adequate provisioning and treatment of credit operations
Monitor the integration of Unlikely-to-Pay (UTP) criteria in the credit risk management process
Consolidate prudential backstop results and calculate provisioning shortfall
Cascade and/or simplify of credit related policies for all local entities, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines/regulation
Handle other ad-hoc requests (for example: Stress Tests, CRR impact study, ETS)
Act as support to our local entities in regards to regulatory requirements, prioritization of multiple workstreams, sharing best practices across the region, producing new materials to document or clarify risk management processes or new regulatory demands
Perform data assessment and participate in the data certification phases.
Coordinate and monitor action plans, including IT developments for data implementation, feeding and control
Participate in the preparation of materials & minutes for project committees, steering committees and strategic committees (AQC)
Profile
and Skills to Success
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Engineering or related
At least 2 years of experience in Risk / Internal Controls / Audit / Consulting / Financial Planning / Accounting or similar
Advanced level of English, both written and oral
Adaptability
Ability to collaborate / teamwork
Communication skills, both written and oral
