Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sales Process Owner to join our team.
This key role will involve working closely with business and IT teams to design, implement and manage sales processes across Europe.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient sales operations, acting as a strategic interface between local sales units and the global IT organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a liaison between sales teams and IT departments;
2. Take ownership of sales process improvement initiatives, including requirement gathering, process design, testing and rollout;
3. Lead workshops, define and document sales processes, and support international rollouts on-site during the hyper care phase;
4. Provide ongoing support for sales teams, evaluate change requests and test system enhancements;
5. Handle service requests and incidents via a ticketing system;
6. Represent the company in other global IT initiatives, such as archiving, authorization and lifecycle management;
7. Organize and facilitate international sales meetings and training sessions using various formats;
8. Align regularly with sales teams from other SAP modules to ensure cross-functional consistency.
Requirements:
* An academic degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field;
* Multiple years of experience in sales or sales-supporting functions, ideally with IT involvement;
* A strong knowledge of sales-related business processes and SAP SD (Order-to-Cash), preferably in SAP S/4 HANA;
* A solid IT understanding and system affinity;
* Excellent communication, presentation and training skills;
* Proficiency in English (written and verbal); Additional languages are a plus;
* A team player with initiative and a passion for international collaboration;
* A willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%).
