Role Overview
We are looking for a C++ Developer to join one of our biggest clients, a global Corporate & Investment Banking institution with strong operations in Booking & Post-Trade systems, supporting world class front office and trading activities.

Location: Lisbon
What you will do
* Develop and maintain customizations for a closed architecture booking and trading platform.
* Implement C++ features on top of the client's proprietary layer without modifying the system's core.
* Perform reverse engineering activities when needed to investigate issues or implement workarounds.
* Collaborate closely with teams in Lisbon and Porto to support OTC Front Office Summit projects.
* Contribute to functional analysis, unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices (Jenkins).
What you are like
* Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Professional experience in C++ software development.
* Knowledge in Capital Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking or financial products is highly valued.
* Experience with closed architecture or proprietary software customization.
* Good understanding of shell scripting, Git, SQL; knowledge of C# or Python is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in English (C1). Portuguese and French are a plus.
Client-specific knowledge requirements (explicit as requested):
* Preferred: Experience with Summit.
* If no Summit experience: Experience with another booking banking software such as Sophis, Murex, Orchestrade, or Calypso.
* If no banking system experience: Experience in customizing other closed-architecture software systems.
