The Programming Specialist leads programming for owned (redbull.com & Red Bull TV) and managed third-party channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), along with community management across these platforms. They develop and implement cross-platform programming strategies aligned with the organization’s marketing goals to increase brand engagement and word of mouth. This role requires industry knowledge across social, web, and emerging digital channels, with the ability to translate strategy into engaging stories and content that resonate at scale.
Responsibilities include:
1. Content Definition: Establishes content priorities and plans in collaboration with the Media Network and Marketing teams, based on content performance data and audience insights.
2. Strategy for Owned and Managed Channels: Refines channel strategies, identifies potential partner channels, and creates cohesive programming and release plans. Optimizes performance through scheduling, featuring, functionalities, and consumer journey enhancements.
3. Content Creation: Briefs content teams to meet platform-specific goals, develops activation plans with Brand and Communications teams, manages social media, community engagement, local redbull.com, Red Bull TV, and collaborates with Creator Marketing.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in digital media management, including social media and digital content programming.
* Experience managing social media accounts and/or websites and apps.
* Deep understanding of digital consumer behavior and engagement strategies.
* Up-to-date with online trends and word-of-mouth marketing.
* Strong communication skills and ability to enhance digital knowledge within the organization.
* Understanding of competitor activity and consumer behavior in media and FMCG sectors.
* Passion for the Red Bull brand and its values, with the ability to translate this into engaging online content.
* Proficient in digital industry trends and data analysis, with the ability to develop strategic initiatives.
* Hands-on approach, comfortable managing accounts directly.
