The junior engineer is trained in the organisation’s DevOps practices and tools, gaining hands-on experience and preparing to take on more complex responsibilities over time.**Key Responsibilities:**Assist with infrastructure provisioning using predefined Terraform modules.Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and basic troubleshooting.Perform housekeeping tasks such as FinOps checks and resource clean-up.Document processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.Shadow senior engineers and participate in team ceremonies.**Key Technical Expertise:**Basic understanding of cloud computing (Azure fundamentals)CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps basics)Terraform basics (variable usage, module consumption)Monitoring fundamentals (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)**Key Soft Skills:**Teamwork and willingness to learnBasic agile understandingAttention to detail and reliability**Training and Support:**Training and support will be provided for areas of the tech stack that you aren’t familiar with.
