Project Manager, Energy Efficiency (Brightcity
). Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field
* Minimum 1 year of experience in project management roles within tech, engineering, or smart building environments
* Experience managing digital product development projects, especially in sustainable infrastructure or IoT-based platforms
* Experience managing projects related to AFIR (Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation) and EV charging infrastructure is highly valued
* Strong knowledge of energy systems, building automation, and/or sustainable technologies is a plus
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
* PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is an advantage
* Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
Responsibilities
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and quality delivery
* Monitor and report on project progress using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
* Translate client and business needs into technical requirements and oversee solution implementation
* Drive continuous improvement in project execution, focusing on smart building technologies and user-centric platforms
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and external sustainability regulations (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, ISO 50001)
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies early in the development cycle
* Occasional working visits to sites or partners in Portugal and other European countries may be required
