Role Description:
We are seeking a hands-on
Full Stack developer
with a focus on
backend development
to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will focus on improving, automating, and maintaining the internal systems that support our operations, underwriting, reporting and partner management. The ideal candidate enjoys working with modern technologies and understands how to effectively leverage AI-driven tools and solutions across the development lifecycle. We're also looking for a technically versatile and detail-oriented candidate, with strong experience in integrations, process automation, and data management.
Your primary mission will be to ensure our internal systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable, enabling our frontlines to operate smoothly and our management to make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Automation & Workflow Optimization
* Architect and implement complex applications, using well accepted design patterns leveraging AI to transform the Finance service industry.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows (for example N8N or Zapier) that streamline underwriting, partner engagement, and internal operations.
CRM & System Management
* Manage and optimize our enterprise-level CRM and related systems, ensuring data integrity and process consistency.
* Build and maintain integrations between CRM, underwriting systems, document management platforms, and reporting dashboards.
Support of Internal Tools & Platforms
* Monitor and maintain internal tools supporting the sales, underwriting, and finance teams.
* Collaborate with various departments to understand pain points and implement technical solutions.
Future Direct Lending Projects Support
* Contribute to the
backend development of future in-house lending solutions, including automated underwriting, document generation, and API connections.
Qualifications:
Technical Requirements
-Must-Have-
* 2+ years' of hands-on experience with ).
* Experience with SQL databases.
* Experience in implementing REST APIs, Webhooks, and WebSockets, with hands-on experience in designing and building event-driven architectures, including asynchronous messaging and event streaming systems.
* Understanding of DDD principals and experience writing automated tests.
* Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
* Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ.
-Nice to Have-
* Experience in automating workflows using CRM platforms, Zapier, N8N, PostHog, Make (Integromat), or custom scripts.
* Knowledge of Salesforce Integration.
Problem-Solving & Collaboration
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate operational problems into technical solutions.
* Good communication skills to collaborate with non-technical teams and explain complex systems in simple terms.
Other Requirements:
* Written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
* Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate and contribute to shared success.
* High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is a plus.
* EU citizenship or Portuguese residence card.
* Interest in working in Porto, in a multicultural environment.
