Our client is a global hotel company with over 1,100 hotels in operation and under development in 120 countries.
As a customer service specialist, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Providing the highest level of service to all clients and guests, ensuring company standards are met and used in accordance with dedicated systems.
2. Completing the enquiry process through to invoicing, maximising sales opportunities using company tools.
3. Taking responsibility for assigned duties, ensuring timely and professional execution.
4. Gaining knowledge of the company's brands and hotel specifics to better serve customers during booking and delivery.
5. Supporting and delivering on departmental strategies and objectives, taking ownership of responsibilities.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to maximize client and guest satisfaction, responding positively to enquiries and resolving issues.
7. Maintaining detailed communication lines between the hotel team and other stakeholders.
8. Building and maintaining effective relationships, promoting the company's culture and values.
9. Ensuring adherence to legislation and best practices, documenting activities for audits and following up as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Native or proficient level of Swedish (C2).
2. Advanced English (C1 or higher), both spoken and written.
3. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, attentive listening, and writing.
4. Experience in handling reservations.
5. Strong sales skills.
6. Ability to adapt to changing environments.
7. Excellent relationship-building skills with clients and accounts.
8. Proactive, hands-on approach.
9. Ability to ensure task completion and find creative solutions.
10. Personal integrity and a commitment to excellence.
11. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
12. Positive personality and resilience in challenging situations.
13. High-speed internet and suitable remote work conditions.
14. Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal.
15. Be a local candidate or willing to relocate to Portugal.
