The role of an Offensive Cyber Security Engineer requires expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, developing security solutions, and ensuring the resilience of systems against cyber threats. This position is integral to protecting sensitive information and maintaining system integrity.
Description
Conduct penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
Develop and implement offensive security strategies to simulate cyberattacks and evaluate system resilience.
Collaborate with IT and Technology teams to design secure systems and networks.
Analyze security breaches to determine their root causes and recommend solutions.
Provide detailed reports and documentation on security assessments and findings.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in cybersecurity.
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations within financial services.
Train and mentor other team members on cybersecurity best practices.
Profile
Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
Experience in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages relevant to cybersecurity.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards applicable to the industry.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP (preferred).
