We are seeking an accomplished Professional to lead our team of experts in Travel and Expense Services.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to set the direction for their team and drive them towards achieving exceptional results. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining compliant travel expense reimbursement procedures that align with our global strategy, as well as striving for standardization, harmonization, efficiency, digitalization, and automation of travel expense reimbursement processes on a multi-country level.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining compliant and reliable travel expense reimbursement procedures that align with our travel landscape, processes, and strategy.
* Managing the operational service with appropriate planning and use of resources, providing a high-quality service, ensuring that key tasks rendered are performed according to service level agreement and service catalogue.
* Leading, coaching, and supporting the Travel and Expense Services team.
* Contribute to Operational Excellence by measuring and analyzing team performance to identify areas for improvement, derive priorities for the team based on performance data, continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness, foster digitalization through the use of RPA, AI, and other technologies, handle escalations on different stakeholder levels, manage knowledge for the team and stakeholders, ensure compliance with rules, guidelines, and legal requirements (tax).
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively persuade and influence others. A great problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach are essential in driving results and overcoming challenges. Additionally, you should have a strong organizational skill and experience working cross-functionally in multi-national teams. You should also be open-minded, adaptable, with a proven track record of navigating complex and dynamic environments.
* A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar field of studies.
* At least 5 years of experience in a Service Center environment - Accounting / Finance background would be an advantage.
* Experience in leading teams, especially in international environments.
* Travel and Expenses knowledge would be appreciated.
* Expertise in ERPs (SAP FI and/or Concur would be a plus).
