A global travel and mobility services company is seeking a Global Process Owner - Purchase to Pay (P2P) (m/f/d) to join its Accounting & Treasury team.
Your New Role
* Design, standardize, and optimize the global Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, covering vendor master data, purchase requisitions, invoice processing, and payments;
* Implement and maintain process controls such as 3-way matching, approval workflows, and vendor data management;
* Drive automation initiatives for invoice processing and payment tools (e.g., OCR, bank reconciliation, cash application);
* Define and monitor global KPIs (e.g., invoice auto-posting rate, on-time payments, backlog aging) to ensure performance and compliance;
* Collaborate with local accounting teams and BPO partners to guarantee process adherence and continuous improvement;
* Support ERP configuration and implementation of purchase-to-pay modules;
* Align purchasing policies with Procurement and payment cycles with Treasury for accurate forecasting and cash flow management;
* Act as the main interface between Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, Operations, and IT teams to implement scalable, automated P2P processes;
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across multiple entities to enhance efficiency and standardization.
What You Need To Be Successful
* Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field;
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Shared Services, or Finance Transformation roles within P2P;
* Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement and AP cycles;
* Strong system knowledge (AP systems, automation tools, OCR, etc.);
* Proven experience in global or multi-country operations;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
* Fluent in English (mandatory);
* Process-oriented, pragmatic, and able to drive global standardization.
