Senior ServiceNow Application Developer – Remote (Portugal)
We are looking for a
Senior ServiceNow Developer
with strong hands-on experience building, optimizing, and maintaining applications on the ServiceNow platform. This role is fully focused on
end-to-end development
, advanced scripting, integrations, and application architecture.
What You Will Do
Develop and enhance
scoped applications
, flows, automation, and platform customizations.
Build and maintain
integrations
(REST, SOAP, Scripted APIs, MID Server).
Create and optimize
Service Portal
components (widgets, UI pages).
Implement secure and scalable solutions using
ACLs
, roles, and governance best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high platform performance.
Contribute to CI/CD, ATF, code quality, and version control (Git).
Collaborate with architects and guide junior developers when needed.
What You Need
6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
.
Strong experience with
JavaScript
, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
Experience with
ITSM, ITOM, HRSD
or App Engine / Scoped Apps.
Solid understanding of architecture, performance optimization, and platform best practices.
Ability to work autonomously and in a distributed team.
Fluency in English.
Certifications
CSA – required
CAD – strongly preferred

CIS
(ITSM, HR, CSM, or ITOM) – preferred
