Overview
Global PC&L Systems Analyst role at Aptiv. The Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) Analyst/Senior Analyst focuses on optimizing Aptiv’s end-to-end supply chain analytic capabilities for proactive action planning and decision making. The candidate turns raw data into critical knowledge through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and predictive analytics, and interfaces with cross-functional data stewards.
This is a global role reporting to the Global PC&L Systems, Analytics & E2E Master Data Manager, who reports to the Global PC&L Business Process & Logistics Director for the AS&UX business.
Responsibilities
* Leverage data, data sources, and visualization to drive incremental efficiencies in PC&L activities (Customer Demand, Supplier Demand, Production Plan, Inventory, Financial data, Logistics, Plant Operations, E2E Master Data, Business Process, KPIs, etc.).
* Develop and produce reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards to analyze PC&L activity by comparing actual, planned, and historical data.
* Proficient in dashboarding and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Alteryx).
* Understand relational and non-relational database structures; create front-end and back-end processes for home-grown programs/systems/tools from start to finish.
* Develop data presentation materials and summarize data from different systems into a presentable format; refine and visualize PC&L data (KPIs) with business functions.
* Use data to proactively manage supply chain risks and impacts; identify opportunities to leverage digital/automated tools to increase efficiencies.
* Analyze data to enhance performance by identifying and reducing inefficiencies; generate ad-hoc reports/KPIs as needed by ASUX/PC&L activities.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
* Automotive or High Tech (Semiconductor, Electronics) experience preferred.
* Experience and proficiency with SAP is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, including Excel and Tableau; high level of technical expertise in Cloud Security, DevOps, IT automation, full stack development, programming/scripting languages, databases, testing, and operating systems.
* Strong data presentation skills (Tableau/Power BI Dashboards, PowerPoint).
* Proficiency in spoken and written English.
