What will be your role
In this role, you will join a dynamic technical team working on a large-scale transformation program with a client in the insurance sector.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining
frontend applications
using
OutSystems (Reactive Web and Mobile)
, ensuring high performance, scalability, and usability.
Implementing
clean and consistent UI/UX
aligned with the group's design system and accessibility standards.
Integrating with
.NET-based APIs (REST/SOAP)
and external services to deliver complete business functionality.
Writing
efficient, maintainable, and testable code
, following OutSystems and frontend development best practices.
Participating in the
design and planning
of new features, collaborating closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues across the
application layer
, from integrations to interface behavior.
Actively contributing to the
continuous improvement
of the development process, tools, and coding standards.
Working within an
Agile/Scrum team
, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Staying updated with the
latest trends in OutSystems and frontend development
, applying them to improve solutions.

What should you bring to the team
2+ years of proven work experience as an
OutSystems Frontend Developer
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or similar
OutSystems certifications
(Reactive Web Developer, Mobile Developer, Associate Tech Lead, or similar) are highly valued
Solid experience in
developing and maintaining applications in OutSystems
(Reactive and/or Mobile)
Strong knowledge of
Frontend concepts
(UI/UX, responsive design, usability, accessibility)
Experience working with
integration of OutSystems with .NET backends
is a plus
Knowledge of
relational databases
(SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
Previous experience in
large-scale projects or digital transformation initiatives
is a strong plus
High sense of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail
Experience working in
Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
Proactive mindset and results-driven attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
Availability to work up to 3 days a week at the client's offices in Lisbon
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, influence, and foster change collaboratively
