Regulatory Reporting Team Leader
The Regulatory Reporting team is a key department within the organization, responsible for calculating and reporting metrics on solvency, asset-liability management & liquidity, and granular reporting. As the team leader of Regulatory Reporting, you will oversee two teams: Periodic reporting and Prudential reporting, with a total of 16 FTE.
Main Tasks And Goals
* Lead, manage, and merge the two teams into a single unified structure, ensuring the continuity, accuracy, and timeliness of all regulatory submissions to regulators.
* Build a cohesive team, harmonize processes, and secure high-quality deliverables for regulators and internal stakeholders.
You will be in charge of:
* Full management and team development, monitoring, and reporting the team's performance against key performance indicators, recruitment succession planning, and knowledge transfer.
* Training of recruits in coordination with experts and process owners to enable handover of regulatory reporting.
* Implementation of control frameworks during end-of-month, end-of-quarter, end-of-year closings and in between closings.
* Production process of Regulatory Reporting, including COREP, PILLAR 3, RUBA, PROTIDE, ANACREDIT, ANATITRES.
The position involves frequent interactions with management and occasional travel. English is the working language; knowledge of French is a valuable asset for liaising with regulators etc. The manager will work closely with risks, financial control, financial communication, front office, and IT teams.
Qualifications
* Master's Degree from a business school or university related to finance.
* Management experience.
* Solid understanding of prudential frameworks.
* Strong knowledge of reporting requirements; European banking regulatory reporting.
* Experience in risk management; prior banking or financial industry experience with regulatory reporting.
* Data manipulation skills; Power BI; MS Office.
* Fluent in English; French is a big plus.
