The successful candidate will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching and learning, fostering a vibrant international community and supporting the school's long-term vision and growth.Key Responsabilities* Lead the strategic development and day-to-day management of the International Section* Drive excellence in teaching, learning and student outcomes across the section* Support and develop staff through effective leadership, coaching and performance management* Promote a positive, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment for all students* Work closely with school leadership to implement the school's vision, priorities and improvement plans* Oversee student wellbeing, pastoral care and safeguarding within the International Section* Build strong relationships with students, parents and the wider school community* Ensure compliance with curriculum, assessment and accreditation requirements where applicable* Contribute to student recruitment, retention and the continued growth of the International SectionThe Ideal Candidate Will Have* Experience in educational leadership, school management or leading academic programmes* A strong understanding of international education and curriculum delivery* Excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building skills* The ability to inspire staff, support students and drive continuous improvement* A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student wellbeing* Experience within an international school environment is highly desirableThis role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of a thriving International Section within a dynamic and growing international school community in the Algarve.
