Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive specialist to join our Finance/HR team. This hybrid role combines payroll processing responsibilities with partial accounting duties, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution while supporting general accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle the complete payroll process, following local laws and internal rules
* Maintain and update employee data together with HR (e.g. working hours, benefits, bonuses, deductions)
* Ensure payroll taxes and social security payments are submitted on time
* Create payroll reports and answer employee questions about salaries
* Support payroll-related onboarding (e.g. bank details, tax forms, benefits)
* Keep payroll-related training and compliance records up to date
* Prepare legally required reports
Accounting Responsibilities:
* Support monthly and yearly closing processes and financial reports
* Prepare journal entries and help with account reconciliations
* Maintain accounts payable and receivable records
* Process payments to vendors and reimbursements for employees
* Work with external auditors and provide necessary documents
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO modules) is a plus
Requirements:
* University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
* Experience in payroll and accounting tasks
* Good knowledge of payroll software and accounting tools
* Understanding of local tax and labor laws
* Careful and organized working style with good time management
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
* Very good language skills
